Scruffy is my fictional fan child between me and Spamton (kind of), though he has since grown into something much more and is sometimes incorporated into other stories without Spamton being present.

Essentially, Spamton gives me a pipis one day, and the pipis hatches into a little spamling. Spamton, shocked and scared at the sudden prospect of fatherhood, denies he knows what it is or why it hatched. I decide to take care of the little guy anyway and name him Damien (but I usually call him Scruffy). I raise him from just a little hatchling into a full fledged adult.

How Scruffy ages and what age he is exactly will vary. Typically, Scruffy is a kid, when I think of default Scruffy, I think of him as a 7-9 year old. But Scruffy can also be: A hatchling, a toddler, and a full grown adult. Sometimes he ages rapidly, but sometimes he also ages the same as a human. This is all dependent on whatever story I am imagining him in.

Hatchling Scruffy is a little creature, the size of a small kitten and covered in white down. He is very creature at this stage, he likes to play with cat toys and little jingly balls. He communicates with little peeps.

Toddler Scruffy is starting to learn how to walk on two legs and talk. He is growing out of his baby down and his big boy feathers are starting to come in.

Kid Scruffy is where more of a personality starts to form. He is very nice and sweet. He loves dinosaurs and trains and math. But he’s also very blunt, and isn’t shy about letting someone know he doesn’t like them. He also doesn’t trust very easily and is very protective of his toys and his family.

Adult Scruffy has grown into a very efficient businessman. Usually owning a small business and doing very well in it. He is all about the grind and cares little for things outside of his work life. The one exception being his family, which he will do anything to protect and nurture. He’s very hesitant to make friends outside of business contacts, but he’s not lonely, he enjoys the life he’s made for himself.

Worth noting that Scruffy HATES Spamton too.
